Poster Pre-production - Photography

 First photoshoot

In the first photoshoot we was gonna use a picture of a girl slimier to the one on the music video. This was one to keep it related to the music video we made but decide against it. This was for two reasons. One was because when we looked at it in a poster or digi pack it didn't fit well and kinda not relevant to are overall idea of the band. The other problem with the photo's where we couldn't capture what we wanted and if we got close the picture looked blurry and out of focus. This meant they was unusable and getting mica back to be in the photos would be harder to do then we thought so in the end we decide on a different plan

 

Second Photoshoot

These photo's we did was from are second photoshoot because of are first one being not want we wanted in the end with the theme not fitting with the image we was trying to give the band. These gave the band an identity we wanted to show on are posters and digi pack with the background showing a building known in the local area. We also gave the band a more grunge vibe with these picture because of the rubble and darker background.

with the close ups we had to do something different. We had each band member have a close up so we could capture there face and use it letter on the poster to show of each band member and what they all look like. With Connor both his pictures would have worked as they are both non bury and show what we want of him. This ment we could pick which ever one we think would work the best.

Jack again was very simple as we had beloved  that after the first picture we had captured what we needed. The lighting fit well and the background fit well with Jake's head so we used this one instantly.

For Jack we took a bigger range of photo's. This was mostly down the human error as Jack would constantly mess up photo's. There was also some blur ones which couldn't be used. In the end we used the photos which were best looking with him look directly at the camera. There was only two photos of jack like this so it made it easier to decide which photo to use.

This photos overall was more fitting to what we was trying to create. It kinda fit with are music video with out a direct link. Also because we used these pictures in both are poster and digi pack we created a link between the both and showing a connection which is helpful for audiences. If someone had seen the poster before hand and then the digi pack they would know there connected even if they just glanced at it.
