Font's and Colors

We went on a website called "Dafont.com" and tried to find some fonts that matched are grung theme of the album.  we decide on the kidnap lettering of slave only dream to be kings font as it fit what we was aiming for. As you can see in are poster the lettering really works and creates a professional look. It also keeps the theme going where the other fonts don't really fit and make it look a lot more makeshift.

We also look at a range of colors for the poster trying to make it match the font so it will stand out. we also looked at metallic colors as they fit with the theme of the band. We decide on a simple black background as it just helped allow all the important parts stick out. Other colors would take away a lot of the focused from the key parts to the color its self. The font is just white as its the perfect contrast to the black

Digipak Creation Process

To  get the colour saturated effect on the pictures we had to put them through and app on Connor's phone. This app is called fotor we put the photos in it add the effect and then took them out to be put on are poster. we then put them into a grid to so we had all the picture in the way we want them to look on the poster and digi pack. With the colour saturated and it put into a format we began to apply this to are poster and digi pack. Then we was just adding things like background and the information about the band and other things like links to social media and the music video

Lyrics:
No need to store my name, I'm on speed dial,
I just wish that you'd hang around for a while,
'Coz girl to me you're different from the most,
But all I am to you is another mark, on your bed post.

When it's over girl will you remember my name?
'Coz when we're done, you got noone to blame,
I've got you pinned on your bedroom floor, scream my name, I know you want some more,
But when it's over girl will you remember my name.

I'll never know who's your next victim,
What you're doing, or where you picked him,
But when you're bored I know you'll come back to me,
You'll be surprised, when I show you no mercy.

When it's over girl will you remember my name?
'Coz when we're done, you got noone to blame,
I've got you pinned on your bedroom floor, scream my name, I know you want some more,
But when it's over girl will you remember my name.

Storyboard for Music Video.

Are storyboard for a music video Where made so we understand what we was aiming to do. We show how we want it to switch between the band and the story as well as showing different shot we think will look good in the video.  the little note was put in to help us understand what shot was being used so we wasn't judging based on are crude drawings

Phone call

We mad a phone call to the docks hoping to film there but we decide to go for an easier setting then the end

Risk Assessment

Poster Pre-production - Layout design thumbnails

This is are layout of are poster. In it we use the idea from the music video of a girl ticking of a list of band members she has slept with. This is then what we tried to show with are poster. We would try an over the shoulder shot to give it from her perspective. If this idea fails we will try and get clouse ups of the three band members and give it a grung feel.

Poster Pre-production - Photography

 First photoshoot
In the first photoshoot we was gonna use a picture of a girl slimier to the one on the music video. This was one to keep it related to the music video we made but decide against it. This was for two reasons. One was because when we looked at it in a poster or digi pack it didn't fit well and kinda not relevant to are overall idea of the band. The other problem with the photo's where we couldn't capture what we wanted and if we got close the picture looked blurry and out of focus. This meant they was unusable and getting mica back to be in the photos would be harder to do then we thought so in the end we decide on a different plan

Second Photoshoot
These photo's we did was from are second photoshoot because of are first one being not want we wanted in the end with the theme not fitting with the image we was trying to give the band. These gave the band an identity we wanted to show on are posters and digi pack with the background showing a building known in the local area. We also gave the band a more grunge vibe with these picture because of the rubble and darker background.

with the close ups we had to do something different. We had each band member have a close up so we could capture there face and use it letter on the poster to show of each band member and what they all look like. With Connor both his pictures would have worked as they are both non bury and show what we want of him. This ment we could pick which ever one we think would work the best.

Jack again was very simple as we had beloved  that after the first picture we had captured what we needed. The lighting fit well and the background fit well with Jake's head so we used this one instantly.
For Jack we took a bigger range of photo's. This was mostly down the human error as Jack would constantly mess up photo's. There was also some blur ones which couldn't be used. In the end we used the photos which were best looking with him look directly at the camera. There was only two photos of jack like this so it made it easier to decide which photo to use.

This photos overall was more fitting to what we was trying to create. It kinda fit with are music video with out a direct link. Also because we used these pictures in both are poster and digi pack we created a link between the both and showing a connection which is helpful for audiences. If someone had seen the poster before hand and then the digi pack they would know there connected even if they just glanced at it.
